Persona 5 Royal got another short gameplay video through the Persona official PR Twitter. This time it focuses one of the new Confidant characters, the consultant Takuto Maruki. It seems Atlus will keep pushing out these on Twitter until the next Morgana Report or the second trailer releases.

In the scene, Takuto introduces himself to the students of Shujin academy. A random "Serious-looking student" notices how low Takuto's voice is. Turns out it's not because of his cool suave voice, but because there's some problem with his mic. Takuto tries to fix it, with no success, and finishes introducing himself. As he tries bowing to the students, he ends up headbutting the mic, ridiculizing himself.

Takuto's profile stated how popular he is with the students, so we've all been expecting his intro to be really cool. Atlus is showing us with this video that Takuto has a clumsy side as well. The tweet, which is supposedly by Morgana, also notes that despite being loved by the students, he seems pretty airheaded at times.

Takuto joins the school as a counselor shortly after the Kamoshida case, meaning this scene happens pretty early in the game.

We also get to hear one of the new BGMs, which might be Takuto's theme. According to the latest interview with the staff, P5 Royal has around 20 new tracks compared to the original, including new vocal tracks. The interview also confirms other new Confidants besides Takuto are in the game;

We've translated the previous short gameplay scenes as well: Kasumi's intro and the Phantom Thieves during New Years.

Persona 5 Royal will be available on October 31 in Japan, and in 2020 in the west, exclusively on PS4.
