New Leak Shows Persona 5 Royal Rated For Xbox In Korea

Xbox gamers might soon get to play Persona 5 Royal!

June 5, 2021

Update: The original poster, YuJeong Kim, who shared the leak regarding Persona 5 Royal for Xbox Korea, has now deleted the tweet. In his latest tweet, he clarified that the information shared by him earlier was actually a false review registration that was made using a loophole of the ‘Korea Game Management Committee.’

However, he also said that the news about Persona 5 coming to Xbox isn’t a lie and that he only ended up sharing the wrong information about it.

The original story continues from here…

Persona 5 Royal, also known as P5R, is an enhanced rerelease of Persona 5 that was launched exclusively for the PlayStation 4. However, Xbox gamers have been missing out on the fun for a long time. But potentially, not anymore!

The role-playing game developed by Atlus’ P-Studio was launched in 2019. Persona 5 Royal came with additional character, city, music, and additional plot and social elements alongside many other changes distinguishable from Persona 5.

Persona 5 Royal For Xbox Leaked

While Persona 5 Royal was released exclusively for PS4, the game can be played on the PS5 due to backward compatibility.

But Xbox gamers have been missing out on this game for a long time and have been eagerly waiting for its arrival on Xbox.

And it seems like wait is potentially going to end soon.

Yes! It could finally be happening. According to the latest leak, Persona 5 Royal has been rated for Xbox in Korea.

This information was found on the Game Rating & Administration Committee website for Korea.

Previously, there were rumors that the franchise is trying to make its way to Xbox but today we got the first semblance of any concrete confirmation that it is happening.

Another Leak Suggests Persona 5 Royal Coming To PC

Besides Xbox, we came across another leaked screenshot of the Microsoft Store listing, according to which Persona 5 Royal will also be available for PC.

However, we haven’t been able to this leak ourselves so I recommend taking this piece of information with a pinch of salt!

Nevertheless, this game has received high praises from several critics and it holds an even higher score than the original Persona 5 game.

In a little over a week, Xbox is going to hold an E3 show so fans must be wondering whether the arrival of Persona 5 Royal would be officially announced at the show.

As of now, it’s hard to comment on that; however it seems like an announcement could be coming our way sooner or later, and that itself is very exciting for Xbox fans.
