Atlus updated Persona 5 Royal's Japanese site with new screenshots. The screenshots illustrate the double lives led by the protagonists: the daily school life and the Phantom Thieves life.

The first screen shows one of the animated scenes in Royal. The second screen confirms Takuto will also give some class counseling sessions at times. This means new fun questions to answer in class. The third screen is the new group cleaning school event happening in May, with Makoto leading the group. The fourth screen is a new scene happening in the new January to April playable part. It's Joker meeting Haru as they go to school. Lastly, we have screenshots from the new confidant events with Kasumi and Takuto.

We've seen the new darts minigame and Kichijoji plenty of times now. And these events with Futaba, Sojiro, and Tae were already in the base game.

Next, we've got screenshots illustrating the Phantom Thieves life and some of the new dungeon elements of Persona 5 Royal. We've got the new wire actions, which lets Joker and friends hang up to certain elements, leading them to new places. We've also got new types of treasures called "Volition Treasures" which can be found in dungeons. What are these used for wasn't revealed yet.

The rest of the screenshots can be found further below. They go over mechanics and elements already present in the base game.

Persona 5 Royal's latest gameplay video introduces new party member Kasumi Yoshizawa. We've translated it. More exclusive footage should be released in the next few days through the second Morgana's Report stream.

Persona 5 Royal launches for PS4 on October 31 in Japan, and sometime in 2020 in the west.
