Atlus published today a 30-minutes long making-of video showing Persona series character designer Shigenori Soejima drawing artwork for Persona 5 Royal. The artwork shows Joker and the new character, Kasumi Yoshizawa, together in their Phantom Thieves outfits. Atlus published this artwork to celebrate the release of the game in Japan.

A short version of this making-of video was shown at Shibuya on October 301during the event for the game's launch, but this is the first time we see the whole process.

The video is included below. I believe this is a great initiative from Atlus and hopefully, many artists around the world will benefit from this.  Making-of videos are always a good thing to have.

PS4 exclusive Persona 5 Royal is supposed to launch next Spring in the west. Rumors speak of a March 2020 release. As I'm playing through the game in Japanese, I wouldn't say the new scenes are scarce, but there aren't that many new ones either so far. Besides the many ones involving Kasumi. I'm looking forward to reaching the new part at the end of the game. So I can understand localization is taking a few months. Hopefully, the game will come over soon so everyone can enjoy it.

Meanwhile, Persona 5 Scramble will be releasing on February 20 in Japan.
