Atlus and Koei Tecmo revealed the opening anime sequence for Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers. The opening is pretty action-oriented overall, compared to Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal's openings, to show off and keep advertising how Atlus officially claims Persona 5 Scramble is the first-ever action RPG Persona game.

Persona 5 Scramble's opening theme song is titled You Are Stronger, it was composed by Atsushi Kitajoh, got lyrics by Lotus Juice, and is sung by Lyn. This is the same song we've been hearing in P5S videos and trailers so far. You can check out the opening anime sequence below.

While Atlus didn't give out official confirmation yet, the opening also all but confirms Zenkichi Hasegawa is the new persona user we've seen before and will be playable. This means Persona 5 Scramble has at least two new playable characters, Sophia/Sophie and Zenkichi, who is voiced by Shinichiro Miki, one of my favorite seiyuu ever, so I couldn't be more hyped. I'm much more excited for Persona 5 Scramble than I was for Persona 5 Royal, and I couldn't care less that the game seems to look kinda uglier graphics-wise.

Action RPG Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers launches in Japan on February 20, on PS4 and Switch. The game wasn't officially announced in the west yet but will come over. You can read more on P5S through our past coverage:

We've got the first trailer which revealed P5S is a sequel to the original Persona 5 and not to Persona 5 Royal, some commercials, comments from the staff, more staff comments through Famitsu, details on the difficulty levels, some gameplay and the new artworks for the game,  and the second trailer, which reveals some kind of Shadow Joker.

Atlus on Twitter is also releasing Morgana Travel Guide videos, each introducing locations the Phantom Thieves will visit during their road trip around Japan along with new gameplay, game systems details, characters details, and story details: Shibuya and profiles for Sophia, Zenkichi and Alice, Sendai and an explanation of the Jails and the Band System, Sapporo and an explanation of the Velvet Room, Okinawa and the cooking system, sidequests and hacking battles. The final Morgana Travel Guide stream will happen in late January.
