Atlus has released the final Morgana Travel Guide video, revealing new details on Persona 5 Scramble. We were introduced to Kyoto and Osaka. And we most notably learned that a Persona 5 Scramble demo will launch on February 6 on the Japanese Nintendo Eshop and the Japanese PlayStation Store. The game's official site was updated with new screenshots as well.

Morgana first introduced Kyoto and how it's extremely popular worldwide as a touristic spot thanks to its rich history and places to visit like temples. We also learned that Kyoto is the hometown of new character Zenkichi Hasegawa.

This is Akane Hasegawa, Zenkichi's daughter who lives in Kyoto. She's a very polite girl and a huge fan of the Phantom Thieves. However, she's not on good terms with her father, probably because he's a police investigator, so she considers him an enemy of the Phantom Thieves. Akane is voiced by Naomi Ōzora.

We were then introduced to the Jail in Kyoto, which looks like a big sanctuary with multiple temples. There are Torii gates in it, and passing through them will teleport you to another place. Long story short, the Kyoto Jail is a teleportation labyrinth.

Coming up next was Osaka, and how it houses the head office of a huge multinational IT company named Madicce. Morgana mentioned this company seems to be involved in the new heart-stealing incident the game is about. Just a guess, but that company will probably have something to do with new character Sophia/Sophie, who is an AI.

Morgana then introduced Akira Konoe, the president of Madicce. Akira is voiced by Tōru Ōkawa. Madicce currently offers many innovative services and it's all thanks to its charismatic and pioneering president.

After that, we saw the Jail in Osaka, which looks like a sci-fi futuristic city. It includes security robots, surveillance cameras, and some cool rails you can grind on that seem straight outta Jet Set Radio or Sonic Adventure 2. The Jail also seems to have an "Hero" the Phantom Thieves will meet.

While it was heavily hinted before, Atlus also finally officially confirmed Zenkichi Hasegawa joins the Phantom Thieves under the codename Wolf. Zenkichi awakens his persona in the Kyoto Jail, and he's one of the playable characters in Persona 5 Scramble. Wolf is pretty much Devil May Cry's Dante as he fights with a giant sword and two guns he dual-wields.

Wolf also has a "Berserk" ability, which strengthens his attacks but makes him lose HP over time. He can also use a Drain ability to steal HP from enemies with his attacks.

Zenkichi's persona is named Barjan. It uses Gun attribute skills, Almighty attributes skills, and can also use buffing skills on allies.

At the end of the video, Morgana also teased that locations and characters that we didn't see in his travel guide videos will be included in the game. We'll also need to play the game to see for ourselves Zenkichi's story and why he awakens a persona.

While some dislike following a Japanese game's promotion, claiming too much is revealed, I find it particularly interesting. Sure, seeing Zenkichi awakening his persona while playing the game and not hearing about it beforehand would have been a cool surprise. However, I believe most Japanese games show a lot before release, but ultimately only show a fraction of their content and don't share the most important details. I'm sure Persona 5 Scramble still holds many secrets. I'm looking forward to it and am more excited than ever now that we have official confirmation Zenkichi is playable, seeing he's voiced by Shinichiro Miki, one of my favorite seiyuu.

Lastly, Atlus announced a final live stream will be held for Persona 5 Scramble before release. A date wasn't shared yet. We'll be covering this stream and make a playthrough video of the February 6 demo so stay tuned.
