Soon after releasing Persona 5 Scramble's first trailer and details, most notably revealing it takes place in the summer following Persona 5's ending, Atlus launched five different commercials for the game. Each one of these is broadcast IRL in the respective Japanese prefectures/cities they depict. As you probably know,  the Phantom Thieves will be traveling all over Japan in this sequel.

The first commercial shows Tokyo and Shibuya. This will probably be the first chapter of Persona 5 Scramble seeing that's where the Phantom Thieves are in the first place.

Next, we have Sapporo in Hokkaido. Morgana says he wanna eat Jingiskan. That's the name of a grilled mutton dish that's super popular in Hokkaido, and it's an anime cliche. Basically, if characters go to Hokkaido, they'll probably talk about eating Jingiskan. My favorite example is Rinne in Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, who pretty much becomes jingiskansexual when she gets to Hokkaido. Oh and Yusuke mentions in his deep philosophical Sugita voice that he realized "people will always reach a moment in life where they must get naked".

Sendai, in Miyagi prefecture. The Phantom Thieves will visit Aoba Castle and the Masamune-kou Festival in Osaki City.

Osaka, where Joker and co will eat some takoyaki.

And lastly, there's Okinawa, and how Persona 5 Scramble will have a new beach scene happening there.

Persona 5 Scramble is launching in Japan on February 20 on PS4 and Switch. Persona 5 Scramble will definitely come west soon after its Japanese release, but it has no western announcement for now.

In related news, Persona 5 Royal launches this week in Japan and in Spring 2020 in the west. I'm getting the game so stay tuned for some impressions coming soon.
