Persona 5 the Animation’s Stylish New Ren Amamiya Figurine is a Class Act

Soul Wing's latest creation is a figure of Ren Amamiya from Persona 5 the Animation, a lovely piece that's sure to steal your breath (and heart) away.

Soul Wing released new images of their latest figurine, this time the subject being Persona 5 the Animation‘s Ren Amamiya. The figure, a 1/7 scale model, is 13,800 yen (tax included) and scheduled for an August 2020 release. Pre-orders are currently open through Japanese merch site AmiAmi here. Check out the gallery below to see the gorgeous figure up close — the detail and posing is truly impeccable:

This isn’t the only figurine news we’ve gotten from Atlus. Anime Expo 2019 revealed two new figures of Goro Akechi — a Nendoroid and a Figma. Wonder Festival 2019 Shanghai revealed some lovely Joker and Noir figurines in early June 2019. Back in May Japan’s Mega Hobby Expo 2019 showcased some amazing beauties including from Good Smile, Max Factory, and Alter. In additional great news Amakuni announced that they would be crafting a figurine of the newest character from Persona 5: Royal, Kasumi Yoshizawa.

Amakuni previously showed off their figurines of Ann TakamakiFutaba Sakura, and Makoto Niijima, as well as a full-color Tae Takemi figurine. The manufacturer also debuted a prototype version of Makoto from Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.

Recently Atlus released brand new trailers showcasing the party’s dual attacks called Show Time, as well delving into new Persona characteristics, Baton Touch Rank and Technical Rank, and some of the new activities and shops. The first Show Time trailer stars Yusuke and Ryuji, the second show off the pair Anne and Morgana, and the third one features Yusuke and Anne.

Persona 5 Royal, the remastered version of the original title the anime comes from, will also have a few various editions that fans can purchase. The Steelbook Launch Edition is pretty much exactly what it sounds like and comes with a nice-looking steelbook case for the game.

The Phantom Thieves Edition on the other hand, will set you back a bit more money but also comes with an art book, a CD containing the soundtrack, a dynamic PS4 theme, a collector’s case, and the mask that Persona 5’s protagonist Joker wears in the game. It also includes the same steelbook case from the launch edition.

PS4 exclusive Persona 5 Royal launches on October 31st in Japan and officially on March 31st, 2020 in the West. That title has so far hit the 400,000 units sold milestone in Japan, while the original Persona 5 hit 3.2 million units sold worldwide.
