Today, at the end of the broadcasting of the new episode of Persona 5: The Animation, Atlus released the first trailer of Persona Q2, after a long silence.

The game's full title is "Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth," and it has been confirmed for Nintendo 3DS, and it will release in Japan on November 29th, 2018.

This time we get the addition of Persona 5 characters and the video shows them interacting with the protagonists of previous entries in the Persona series. There's even a surprise at the end for the fans of Persona 3 Portable's female heroine.

The game was announced pretty much exactly a year ago, and then Atlus never spoke of it again, making some wonder whether it could have been canceled or repurposed for another platform. Apparently, this isn't the case.

Of course, no information has been provided so far about a possible western release, and we'll have to see if Atlus USA will want to release a 3DS game in 2018 or 2019, despite the fact that it belongs to a very popular franchise.
