Today, Atlus published yet another character trailer for Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, this time introducing Marie, the waifu voiced by popular voice actress Kana Hanazawa, added in the Vita remake of Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden.

In Persona Q2, unlike other spin-offs, Marie appears as a non-playable character, helping around with Persona management and StreetPass features, along with the Velvet Room attendants. As always, she constantly acts like a tsundere.

As you might have guessed, I'm not a big fan of Marie, though I'm far from absolutely hating her like some part of the fanbase either. Overall, I'm not a fan of Atlus' tendency to remake its RPGs by always adding an extra part of the main story focusing on a new female character, as sometimes the original story was already fine as is.

The previous trailer for the game focused on Junessic Land, a dungeon in the game parodying Jurassic Park. Previous recent character trailers focused on Makoto Niijima from Persona 5, Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3, Teddy from Persona 4 and Goro Akechi from Persona 5.

Persona Q2 launches for 3Ds on November 29th in Japan. The game wasn't announced in the west yet.
