Today FuRyu released a new batch of screenshots of Caligula, its upcoming JRPG written by Persona and Persona 2 writer Tadashi Satomi.

We get to see the game’s Japanese box art, a few battle scenes, and the “erosion factor” in action. Students trapped in the virtual world of Moebius will gradually lose themselves to the power of the song of μ. The protagonists will have to fight those whose erosion factor is terminal.

We also meet a few characters, Kotaro Tomoe, who fights using enormous gauntlets, and Kotono Kashiwaba, whose favored weapon is a bow, making her a lethal long-distance fighter. On the other side we have the composers, Ike P and Milly.

Caligula releases in Japan exclusively for PS Vita on June 23rd.
