Another year brings the next wave of football/soccer-based games to enjoy, and come August, the next iteration of the Pro Evolution Soccer series will arrive in August with PES 2019.

Konami has officially revealed PES 2019 today with a new trailer, with the latest entry in the long-running football/soccer series to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 28th, 2018 in the US, and coming two days later on August 30th for Europe. This time around, Futbol Club Barcelona and Brazilian football player Philippe Coutinho will be the cover star for PES 2019.

In addition to the release date reveal and trailer, Konami also revealed that this year's iteration of PES will feature a new fatigue system that will give players an added element of strategy as their in-game players get tired and worn down, impacting their performance and game behavior. Likewise, the game will also feature new physics systems in place, such as for the game nets.

In terms of larger updates, the myClub mode will feature "its biggest revamp to date" through a new player card system, and will also introduce "Players of the Week" that will have temporary stat boosts and changes based on the performance of those players in real-life games.
