Publisher 2K Games has revealed a brand new overview trailer for the upcoming PGA Tour 2K23, showing off customization options and the new MyPLAYER mode in which players can build up a respective career with their avatars.

According to the information provided by 2K in the trailer, players can reflect their unique style with a wide array of customization options. For example, players can change their clothes and choose from popular brands such as Callaway, Wilson, and Tyler Made, as they can also customize their golf clubs, including putter and gap wedge. Once players create their avatar, they can head into the MyPLAYER mode to make choices from career pathways.

MyPLAYER mode allows players to show off their play style while competing against beloved athletes such as Collin Morikawa, Lexi Thompson, Jon Rahm, Lydia Ko, Will Zalatoris, Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, and Tiger Woods. Plus, a pack of skills will be available for players to receive boosts when they are activated.

Going into more details, in particular, normal shots will receive a flight boost from the fairway when players use the 'Too Brezzy' skill. Players can also have better swing timing by activating 'Unorthodox' while climbing up the ranks on the leaderboard.

As seen in the trailer, players will receive sponsored products with perfect boosts as they prove themselves against their rivals on the MyPLAYER mode. These products include rewards such as shoes, caps, balls, and gloves. Those who have already played NBA 2K games may anticipate that clothing fashion style can play an important role in determining your pathway. Last but not least, PGA Tour 2K23 will introduce an improved swing system, offering a precise swing experience and difficulty settings for more authenticity.

The latest entry in the acclaimed golf series, PGA Tour 2K23, will be made available with three editions when it fully launches for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 14. The Standard Edition will cost $59.99 USD, while the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $99.99 USD. Players can also opt for the Tiger Woods Edition, featuring plenty of bonuses such as cosmetic packs and virtual currency, for $119.99 USD.
