Phantasy Star Nova Demo Hitting the Japanese PSN Next Month

Sega has announced that Phantasy Star Nova, the latest installment in the Phantasy Star series will be getting a “battle demo” scheduled to release in the Japanese PlayStation store next month. The demo will pit you against Gigantes, one of the giant monsters in the game, as well as explore through the atmosphere of Planet Machia.

The demo will be featured at Phantasy Star Online Kanshasai 2014 on July 26 in the Sapporo Convention Center and on August 3 in Port Messe in Nagoya. Players will be able to play the demo ahead of its digital release. Additionally, Phantasy Star Nova will also be featured in the invitation-only Jump Victory Carnival 2014 on July 19 and 26.

Phantasy Star Nova is scheduled to release in Japan sometime this year.
