Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode 3 Expansion Coming August With a New Class and More

on June 15, 2014 3:07 PM

During the Phantasy Star Thanksgiving held today in Tokyo Sega announced the second large scale expansion of Phantasy Star Online 2, dubbed Episode 3, which will be released in late August in Japan.

The expansion comes with a new class, called Bouncer, which will wield a set of dual blades or a pair of jet boots.

A new planet called Harkotan will also be included. Harkotan is a world of constant warfare, where the forces of “white” and “black”¬†clash against each other. In the enemy cities, fashioned in a similar way to ancient Japanese architecture, enemy resembling far eastern evil spirits appear.

The new expansion will also come with a full fledged casino.

You can check out a gallery with the first pictures below, while we wait for any news about a localization. Sega recently mentioned that they’re still working on it, but personally, I’ll believe it when I see it.
