Phantasy Star Online 2 Gets a New Trailer, New Screenshots

on December 24, 2011 12:45 PM

We didn’t hear much about Phantasy Star Online 2 lately, but today (actually yesterday in Japan) Sega broke the silence with an event held in Akihabara, in which the progress on the game and the results of the Alpha testing were showcased for the Japanese press.

Sega published a large batch of new screenshots and a new cinematic trailer of the game, slated for release next year on PC in Japan. Unfortunately we still know nothing of a possible English localization.

While we wait for further news on that front (Please, Sega? I’ve been a good boy this year, promise), you can check out both the trailer and the new screenshots past the cut.

This game has suddenly jumped at the top of my “most anticipated” games for 2012, simply because you can have a Kotatsu (as you can see in the gallery).
