Phantasy Star Portable 2 Announced

Phantasy Star Portable was one of the highest selling handheld titles in Japan and it was just announced that there will be a sequel in the works.

On 8th October 2009, SEGA will release “The Best” version of Phantasy Star Portable. It will come with special UMD that will feature opening movie for Phantasy Star Portable 2, due to be released this Winter in Japan.

Many North American gamers passed this title up for Monster Hunter, but both titles bring action RPG in a great fashion to your PSP. I look forward to this title and may have to import it over from Japan the same way I imported the original as well. I have been a pretty hardcore Phantasy Star player ever since it first debuted on the Gamecube as Phantasy Star Online. We may get a chance to see this in North America, but exepct it a few months later than Japan, so that means Q4 2010 the earliest.
