Phantom Breaker Re-release Announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360, New Screens Released

The Xbox 360 exclusive anime fighter Phantom Breaker never saw a proper North American release, even though publisher 7Sixty confirmed that it would. While the original game may never release in North America at this point, maybe the newly announced re-release Phantom Breaker: Extra will. Phantom Breaker: Extra will contain at least three new fighters  and a new “Extra” fighting mode. Unlike the original game, Phantom Breaker: Extra will be released for the PS3 in addition to the Xbox 360, so those interested can safely import thanks to the region freedom of the PS3.

Phantom Breaker: Extra will hit Japanese store shelves on September 19th. View a sparse batch of screens of the new game below.
