Today Xbox Division head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to announce a milestone for the development of Microsoft’s new console code named Project Scorpio.

Spencer mentioned that he has played the first games on an early units, and they “played great,” while the console “looked right.”

Unfortunately, we’ll probably have to wait quite a bit longer to see those games ourselves, considering that Spencer isn’t sure whether the console will be showcased before E3 or not.

I’m certainly excited to see what it can do, and I’m positive that I’m not the only one.
