Phil Spencer “Sure” to Discuss World of Warships on Xbox One; NXOE Aims to Help Developers and Players Connect
Right in time for my review of World of Warships, we get a preliminary signal that the game might, in due time, land on Xbox One like it’s predecessor World of Tanks, by way of Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer.
@johnkerr23 Sure. I was talked to Victor about Warships at Gamescom, I haven’t played, how do you like it?

@johnkerr23 @wargaming_net have been great partners on Xbox, I’m sure we’ll discuss Warships.

Spencer also talked about the upcoming New Xbox One Experience, and in particular about the Game Hub feature, mentioning that the goal for it is helping developers and players connect:
@Bob_YAMADA_ That’s our goal. Give Studios an easy place to stay connected with their community.

We also hear that it’s unlikely that we’ll get more backward compatible games before the launch of the feature for everyone, which Spencer confirmed will be in November. Looks like plans didn’t change on that front, despite allegations from certain media outlets.
@AarenAare @Xbox Next update will be the launch, we likely won’t add more games to preview between now and then.
