Pinball FX2 Delayed for Xbox One; Developers Adding Transferring of Tables from Xbox 360

Pinball on consoles has been around for quite some time thanks to Zen Studios’ Pinball series, and though the latest title arriving on Xbox One may be coming a bit later, it will have some new bonuses for those that played the games on Xbox 360.

Developer Zen Studios announced that Pinball FX2 will be delayed for Xbox One and missing its original July 31st, 2014 release date, though the developer also added the delay is due to the inclusion of being able to transfer previously owned-content and tables from Xbox 360 for free.

Following recent policy changes within Microsoft regarding cross-platform content compatibility, such as with the upcoming Dance Central Spotlight and previously owned songs on Xbox 360, Microsoft is working alongside Zen Studios to bring previous tables from the Xbox 360 Pinball title to Pinball FX2.

Zen now expects Pinball FX2 to launch in August for Xbox One, with the developer posting through its forums:

“We cannot thank you enough for your support through this process, as well as Microsoft’s, who took your feedback very seriously and worked with us to implement this feature. And again, we do apologize for the delay while we create the Pinball FX2 experience that our fans both want and deserve.”

Pinball FX2 is now expected to launch for Xbox One in August.
