EA Sports revealed a few months ago that Terrell Owens would be gracing the cover of Madden NFL 19's Hall of Fame Edition of the game, but we still didn't know who would be appearing on the standard edition. That is, until today.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is this year's cover athlete for Madden NFL 19. Brown, who is widely considered to be the best receiver in the NFL currently, is featured on the cover without a helmet and is prominently smiling, which is far different look compared to past box art images for Madden.

Brown has been in the NFL since 2010 and has since received accolades upon accolades. As a 6-time Pro Bowler and 4-time First-Team All-Pro receiver, Brown's resume hasn't just cemented him as one of the current best players in the NFL but has likely earned him a future spot at Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

EA Sports has also released a short new video featuring Brown to celebrate his announcement as Madden NFL 19's cover athlete. You can find this video below.

Madden NFL 19 is slated to release in just a few short weeks on August 10 and it will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One, and for the first time in years, PC. Currently, you can head over to Amazon to pre-order yourself a copy of the game.
