Planetary Annihilation Will Release “When It’s Done,” Says Jon Mavor

According to Uber Entertainment, the successful Kickstarter Planetary Annihilation no longer has a release date. Instead they have issued a statement on their website that the game will be released “when it’s done.” However, Uber Entertainment estimates the PC game will be complete in early 2014. Jon Mavor, Chief Technical Officer of Uber Entertainment went on to explain,

[It] will launch when we feel confident about its level of polish and the amount of awesome we can jam into it. We are extremely happy at what we’ve been able to accomplish with the game so far, but we want to take some additional time to make sure we are releasing the best game we can.

Originally, the game was estimated for release in July of this year, instead this extra time will be spent polishing the game, making any needed changes so that everyone is pleased. Either way we can’t wait and like always DualShockers will have the latest information about the game when it’s available.
