Platinum End TV anime is close to its official release, and to hype up the upcoming anime, the creators recently release its new PV trailer. Well, here's everything you need to know about it.

Written by Tsugumi Ohba, Platinum End is a popular Japanese manga that was serialized in Jump Square magazine from November 2015 to January 2021. For the unacquainted, Tsugumi Ohba is the legendary author who gave us the incredible story of Death Note.

The entire anime community considers Death Note one of the best anime/manga series of all time. So, it's understandable why fans are thrilled that another story from Tsugumi is getting animated.

Platinum End New PV trailer

Studio.MD, the animation studio that gave us Atom: The Beginning, Mars Red, and Tantei Team KZ's Jiken Note, is working on Platinum End. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 7th, 2021. It will feature a total of 24 episodes, all of them being available to watch on Crunchyroll.

Today (September 5th, 2021), the studio released a brand new trailer for the upcoming anime series. Interestingly, the new trailer gives us a much better look at the characters and features English subtitles. Here you go; take a look at the new trailer:

What is Platinum End Anime's Plot?

The Platinum End anime/manga series is about Mirai Kakehashi, a boy who attempts suicide after getting frustrated with his life. However, a Guardian Angel, Nasse, saves Mirai and allows him to become the next God.

Now, to sit on the throne, Mirai must compete against other candidates. To move forward, Mirai must find the strength to kill and survive against whatever threat awaits him.
