Platinum End is an upcoming Japanese anime show based on a manga series of the same name. Ever since the anime was announced, the community was waiting to hear any information on its release date. Well, after a frustratingly long wait, we finally have some exciting updates on the upcoming anime.

The community is excited about Platinum End because it is based on a manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba. Interestingly, Tsugumi Ohba is the same author who previously blessed us with 'Death Note.'

When Is Platinum End Anime Coming Out?

Recently, the official website of the Platinum End anime confirmed that the anime would premiere on October 7th, 2021.

Besides the release date, the announcement stated that the anime is listed for 24 episodes and will stream on Crunchyroll. The episodes will run without any breaks and will cover the entire story of the manga.

Signal.MD, the studio that worked on projects like Dragon Goes House-Hunting and Mars Red, is animating the series.

What's the Plot of Platinum End Anime?

The anime series will follow Mirai Kakehashi's story, who attempts suicide after getting abused by his relatives. However, a Guardian Angel, Nasse, saves him and allows him to take revenge on his Uncle and Aunt.

After that, Mirai learns that God is retiring in the next 999 days, and he is one of the thirteen candidates who will replace God. Now, with an angel on his side, Mirai must defeat the other candidates to survive, and for that, he must do things he wouldn't be proud of.
