During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, StarFox Guard was revealed to be bundled with StarFox Zero when it launches on Wii U. The game was previously debuted at E3 as a project of Shigeru Miyamoto known as Project Guard. After the tech demo was shown off, it was rumored that Platinum Games was expanding the concept to a full game.
After the game’s proper reveal, a Platinum director took to Twitter and answered a fan’s question, confirming that Platinum is indeed involved with the production of StarFox Guard.
I’m not working on it personally, but PlatinumGames is! RT @jakeoti: Are you personally working on Project GUARD as well?
