Announced by Tecmo Koei, the demo will encompass the entire first chapter and part of the second chapter of the game, described as a “comprehensive 10 hour sample) that will also include full access to character customization, all six weapon types and equipment upgrades. It also allows for a trial of the online multiplayer, a central aspect of the game, which includes up to seven multiplayer missions to be completed.
Most importantly, players can carry their progress to the full version of the game, which includes their obtained weapons, armor, mitama and materials (up to 30 slots worth), story progress and Haki (in-game currency).
Toukiden: The Age of Demons is inspired by various historical periods of Japan, and tells the tale of humanity’s last stand for survival against the monstrous Oni demons of varying strengths and sizes.
Toukiden: The Age of Demons has released in Japan with success, and will be coming to North America to the PS Vita and PSP on February 11th. Until then, enjoy the demo and give us your thoughts in the comments below!
