Today developer Bluehole revealed a first look at an upcoming map in its popular game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

The new map features a war-ravaged city buried by a sandstorm. If that sounds familiar, that's because it was announced back in May, however this is the first time anyone has been able to see the map itself. You can check out both of the new screenshots at the end of this article.

The map, which currently does not have a name, was revealed on Twitter by Brenden Green, the game's Creative Director.

Two weeks ago, Bluehole announced that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds had sold four million copies in during its first three months. A few days later, the developer revealed that the game had made $100 million in revenue.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a first-person shooter, battle royale style game where players will need to scavenge for supplies while at the same time avoiding being killed.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds currently does not have a release date, however the game is a part of Steam's Early Access program, and has been since March of 2017. The title is set to be fully released on Windows PC and Xbox One sometime in 2017. The possibility of a PS4 version has been teased a few times.
