PlayStation 4 Sold Out Almost Everywhere in South Korea Following Successful Worldwide Launch

on December 22, 2013 2:15 PM

South Korea could easily be defined the motherland of PC gaming, at least due to how popular games like Starcraft and League of Legends are locally, but Korean gamers aren’t really against entertaining themselves with consoles as well, and Sony can add another country to its PlayStation 4 tally.

The PS4 launched in the country on the 17th, and Sony Computer Entertainment Korea announced today with a press release that the console is already sold out almost everywhere. While Initial numbers haven’t been given, as Sony does not announce specific numbers by nation, the initial stock has run out or almost.

You possibly already know I’m not very fond of telling people that your console is sold out, but there you have it: another little blue flag has been placed on the map.
