A few months ago, a line of officially licensed figurines dedicated to popular gaming franchises named Totaku Collection was revealed by ThinkGeek, making waves also due to the rather solid resemblance with Nintendo's ultra-popular amiibo line.

Now we're just a few days away from the release of the first wave, and the German/Austrian/Swiss branch of GameStop came up with an unboxing video to give us a better idea of what the figures look like.

This time around we get to see mostly figures dedicated to PlayStation heroes (there will be a few dedicated to other brands, but they aren't showcased in the video) Parappa the Rapper, Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, Crash Bandicoot, Heiachi Mishima from Tekken, the Feisar FX350 from Wipeout, and the hunter from Bloodborne.

All of them will release on April 7th in North America, and April 6th in Europe. It's worth mentioning for those unaware that there is a relevant difference with Nintendo's amiibo, and it's the fact that they include no gameplay functionality. They're simply static figurines pairing affordable prices with questionable quality, which is certainly something they have in common with amiibo.
