PlayStation Adds Two New Colors to the DualShock 4 Family in March

Two new colors join the DualShock 4 family and pre-orders are available now. Does Midnight Blue or Steel Black fit your gaming personality?

There’s nothing quite like gaming with a controller that fits your style. You have to hold it every time you want to play a game, so it might as well look great, right? Today, PlayStation shares that sentiment with two new styles of DualShock 4 wireless controllers.

These two colors, Midnight Blue and Steel Black, are being added to the lineup of controllers for the PS4. Available at retailers across the U.S. and Canada, they’ve been priced at $64.99 USD (MSRP) and $74.99 CAD (MSRP). Pre-orders are available online now,¬†or check local video game retailers for availability.

The Steel Black features a solid black backing with a shiny, steel-colored front. The Midnight Blue has a similar finish in the gloss, but the front of the controller dons the blue the name would suggest, with a darker blue backing.

These new designs join a family of colors including Jet Black, Glacier White, Green Camouflage, and Sunset Orange to name a few. The last addition to this line-up was added in October with the Red and Blue Crystal DualShock 4 controllers, which featured a translucent paint job.

Take a look at the controllers for yourself below and decide for yourself if Midnight Blue or Steel Black are the colors for you.
