PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Gets an Ultimate Update Today

on April 8, 2014 5:59 PM

Despite being all but forgotten by the larger gaming world, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is still being played and enjoyed by a large number of people. Since its release, these fans have wanted certain features added or tweaked. Developers, Super Bot Entertainment have been listening this entire time and have released an update so massive that they had to call it the ULTIMATE Update since it all but changes the core game.

Here is what Aaron Kaufman, Community Strategist for Santa Monica Studio had to say on the PlayStation Blog:

PlayStation All-Stars fans, we cannot thank you enough for your patience and continued passion throughout the community, and especially on our message boards. Over the past months we’ve read every word, clicked every thread, assessed the game balance inside and out, to ensure that this balance update would not only bring a superior new challenge to the game, but also feel heavily impacted by your voice. Thank you, and our hats off to SuperBot Entertainment for creating an incredible fighting game for PlayStation fans worldwide.

The update brings with it over 100 balance adjustments that cover the entire roster. As the video shows, it also has an improved throwing system, air dodging, directional rolls, supers and “even more fixes than we can fit into a single video.”

The update is available now.  Just start the game up and download it when prompted.
