PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, Sportsfriends Highlight September's Free PS Plus Games

Users taking advantage of Sony’s PlayStation Plus program are in for a real treat come September with today’s newly announced line-up of free games.

Anybody who owns a PS Vita will be delighted to see TxK – a remake of the shooter Tempest – and Joe Danger, which is making its Vita debut, available for free. PS3 owners who might be itching for the latest Super Smash Bros. can tide themselves over with the PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale mash-up fighter. Fans itching to live out their favorite Smaug fantasy can also enjoy collecting piles of gold as a dragon in Hoard on Ps3 as well.

Ps4 users will be treated to the delightful local multiplayer compendium that is Sportsfriends that features a jousting-type game that can be enhanced by using PlayStation Move Motion Controllers. The last game available is the puzzle-platformer Velocity 2X, which is also making its PS4 debut.
