Playstation All-Stars Gets Its First Balance Patch, Sackboy AP Cost/Generation Nerfed

Call it a quick response or a knee-jerk reaction, there’s no doubt that SuperBot entertainment was serious when they said that they would be taking player data into account when balancing PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The first balance patch goes live next week, introducing a new item, fixing the character change glitch, bolstering connectivity and adding some new features to the game’s options.

Most importantly, they’re already taking to adjusting characters. First on the chopping block is Sackboy, as his AP generation for jam session and cakeinator were drastically and nominally cut, respectively. More importantly, the cost of his supers were all increased by nearly a quarter. Sackboy has been stated to have the strongest level 3 in the game, so I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming. You can find out the full details over on SuperBot’s announcement page. Evil Cole and Raiden, are you next?
