Since its release last December, the PlayStation Classic's price has continued to freefall. Mere weeks after the mini-console from Sony arrived, it started seeing steep discounts purely because retailers seemingly couldn't offload their supply at the device's initial value of $99.99. As of today though, the PS Classic has now reached a new low price point that could finally convince you to snag it for yourself.

At multiple different retail stores currently, the PlayStation Classic has been marked down to a fifth of its initial price and now sits at $19.99. For those who have patiently been waiting for the console's value to plummet into this territory, it seems like your patience has now paid off.

Best Buy currently has the PS Classic marked down to this price as part of a current promotion. Amazon, in turn, has also matched this price and has the item available on its website as well. Both of these prices likely won't last much longer, so you might want to pounce on this deal sooner rather than later if you're interested.

Personally, I still have no interest in picking up a PS Classic for myself, but I can't deny that this is actually probably a good place to finally pull the trigger and grab one if you've been holding out. If you have any interest in modding the machine, like I know many others have, this is at least a good price point to pick one up and make some homebrew modifications.

So what do you think? Is this a low enough price to finally get you to snag one or are you waiting for it to plummet all the way to $5? Let me know down in the comments.
