The month of June is going to be quite eventful for gamers all across the world as a number of events are slated to take place, despite E3 getting canceled.

PlayStation Could Get A State Of Play In The First Week Of June

According to prominent game journalist Jeff Grubb, Sony is gearing up for a show sooner than fans would expect. In the latest iteration of the GamesBeat Decides podcast, Jeff Grubb states that he has heard from multiple sources that a new show slated for the first week of June could be brewing.

As far as the contents of the show itself go, Jeff Grubb has not revealed a lot about it. He has stated that he has heard the news from multiple sources, but is not able to confirm the news himself. It could be possible that it is about Skull and Bones, or maybe Call of Duty could show up in the event as well.

When fans hear about an upcoming Sony event, the first thing that actually comes to mind these days is none other than God of War: Ragnarok. The highly anticipated title is slated to release this year itself, and fans are getting quite impatient to hear more about the title.

There have been a number of rumors regarding the game getting possibly delayed, but Sony has reiterated the release window of the title time and again. The most recent update we received was barely a few days ago, where it was stated that God of War: Ragnarok is indeed coming in 2022, but as of now, the game is not ready to be shown.

Sony should definitely be having a show very soon, considering the fact that it has been quite a while since we heard from them. However, whether that will be before the Xbox show or after it remains to be seen.
