PlayStation Developers Get Access to the Unity Pro for Free

Official PlayStation developers will now get free access to Unity Pro, it’s been announced.

To be eligible for this promotion, developers do still need to register with PlayStation, but it takes some of the cost out of creating games in the engine.

Unity CEO David Helgason said that the smaller developers are at the heart of this move.

Some of the most exciting games are coming from smaller teams who in the past would have been hard pressed to get on so many awesome platforms.

This announcement follows a similar statement last month regarding Xbox One developers, who also have free access to the Unity Pro engine.
