Sega just released a new trailer and a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming prequel of the Yakuza series Yakuza Zero, which will be published next year (at least in Japan) on PS4 and PS3.

The trailer is the same that was showcased behind closed doors at Tokyo Game Show, and gives us a glimpse on the three themes of the game: money, women and violence.

Together with the screenshots, it gives us a glimpse on the enormous array of activities and minigames which will be available in Yakuza Zero (Some of which will even be playable on the PlayStation Vita), like betting on catfights between scantly clad ladies, wooing and grooming hostesses, dance-offs, classic Sega arcade games, casino games, and even races with the old and beloved Mini 4wd (who didn't have at least one?). We'll also get to expand our territory and to administer the establishments it contains to increase our influence among the Yakuza.

And what would a Yakuza game be without absolutely brutal finishers? This one is set in the past when Kazuma Kiryu was still a rather bad boy, while the other playable character Goro Majima has always been one. Therefore it's no surprises that battles will be more brutal and violent than ever.

If you have a weak stomach, you may want to skip the most gruesome parts of the trailer below, otherwise enjoy!
