Sony has announced that the PlayStation Gear webstore for the United Kingdom is temporarily closed. The source is third party supplier, MyPlay Direct Inc, no longer operating the webstore. Some orders placed with the third party will not be shipped, and customers will not be charged, or will be refunded, for any items that fail to ship.
Sony states they “are working to bring you a new webstore as soon as possible.” Currently there are sales on the North American PlayStation Gear store with 20% off all items, and free shipping for orders over $50. This sale lasts until Sunday, November 27, 2016, and no word currently on whether or not it will be extended once the UK store is back.

We are sorry to inform you that the PlayStation Gear webstore is temporarily closed. This closure is beyond our control as it is due to a decision by a third party supplier, MyPlay Direct Inc., which operated the webstore.
Unfortunately, some orders placed with MyPlay Direct Inc. will not be dispatched. MyPlay has promised that you will not be charged, or will be refunded, for any item that has not been dispatched and they will contact you if your order is affected.
We know you will be disappointed not to receive your goods and we are working to bring you a new webstore as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If you have any issue with an order you placed with MyPlay Direct Inc. please contact email@example.com
