In a recent tweet, former President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios and current head of PlayStation Indies Shuhei Yoshida has dropped a hint that has got the community excited for a Bloodborne reveal. He posted a list of games that he has played recently, and the first three names include Horizon Forbidden West, Sifu, and Genshin Impact. However, things get interesting from the fourth name onwards.

PlayStation Head Teases Unreleased Souls Game, Fans Demand Bloodborne 2

The fourth name is written in a cryptic way, as unreleased puzzle action. Things get even more interesting in the last name, as it is stated that it is an unreleased Soulslike. Naturally, one would think that it is Elden Ring, considering the game is barely a week away from launch. However, it seems like that is not the case. Yoshida clarifies in a subsequent tweet that the game is not Elden Ring.

This has led to some wild speculations about what it could be. A very good probability is that it is Salt and Sacrifice, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Salt and Sanctuary which got a release date recently. However, considering that the game is already announced, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to write its name in such a cryptic fashion.

And to no surprise, the Bloodborne 2 or Remake speculations have once again started. Well this time around, it isn't too far-fetched. Recent leaks have stated that From Software is not associated with Bloodborne 2 or its remake. So there is just one name that comes to mind, Bluepoint Games. It could be that Bluepoint is working on a possible remaster, and Yoshida is teasing just that. Whatever the case is, we should be getting more clarity in the days to come.
