PlayStation Italy GM Talks PlayStation Plus Bonus and Possibility to Implement it in Other Countries

A few weeks ago Sony Computer Entertainment Italy announced PlayStation Plus Bonus, an initiative that grants further monthly deals an discounts to PlayStation Plus users.

This morning I had a chat with PlayStation Italy General Manager Marco Saletta, and I asked him about the philosophy behind PlayStation Plus Bonus, and whether there’s a chance for it to be extended to other countries:

The concept behind the Bonus platform is that we need to provide our subscribers with more content and more activities to get engaged and happy to stay with us.

So far the results are very satisfying, the installed base of PlayStation Plus in Italy is growing, and this is a satisfaction for us, and as far as what concerns abroad, I think that a development plan will come very soon.

This month PlayStation PLus bonus added more advantages for PlayStation Plus subscribers, including two discount vouchers for an online book store, a 20% discounts on Sony MDRZX660APB.CE7 headphones, amusement park tickets for reduced prices and more.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see when and how the deal will be implemented in other countries.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
