Apparently both Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia President Atsushi Morita and his counterpart at Square Enix Yosuke Matsuda are quite confident in their Call of Duty: Black Ops III skills, and they're both eager to demonstrate them in front of everyone.

Today Sony Computer Entertainment released a "video challenge" in which Morita-san calls out Matsuda-san to a duel using Treyarch's FPS as a battleground, including a re-enactment (unfortunately using actors) of a rather heated conversation at an izakaya (basically the Japanese version of a pub) in Tokyo.

Things get interesting when the drunk lookalikes raise the ante, mentioning that the duel should be publicly livestreamed. In fact, we'll be able to see the two go at each other leading their respective teams on Nico Nico on February 26th, at 9 PM Japan time.

I guess there's some company pride on the line as well, considering that Square Enix used to publish the Call of Duty series in Japan, before Sony moved in to publish the PS4 version directly with Black Ops III.

Check out the video below (yes, it's beyond cheesy, but also funny). Who will you root for?
