London Studio, a team from Sony's PlayStation Studios, is looking for a Narrative Design Lead who can create the lore for a magic-based fantasy project with long content support after launch.

With all the acquisitions since entering the new generation of gaming consoles, Sony is gearing up for creating a golden era for PlayStation fans and PS5 owners.

So far, PlayStation Studios has had an impressively successful beginning with PS5 as most of their exclusive titles have been extremely popular among fans so far. However, it's important to keep the momentum alive with an expansive roadmap for the future, and it seems Sony is giving more freedom and budget to its studios to try out new projects.

London Studios Is Working on a GaaS Project for PlayStation 5 With Years of Planned Content

Sony's London Studios is best known for its PSVR titles, but it seems like they are working on something quite big at the moment that will target PS5 rather than PSVR 2.

According to a job listing post on the official webpage of London Studio, the team is looking for a Narrative Design Lead who can help the studio to shape up the lore and characters for a magic-based fantasy game.

As the job description reveals, this is going to be a GaaS (Game as a Service) project with years of planned content. The studio seems to be pretty serious about creating rich lore for the game's world as well as detailed backstory for the characters.

The project will apparently feature an initial non-linear campaign with certain side quests and missions, which then will be expanded using post-launch content.

Sony recently revealed in a quarterly report that they have scheduled 10 live-service games to be launched by 2026, and the ongoing project at London Studio could probably be one of them.

It's yet to be seen when we can expect the official announcement of this project from Sony, but it already seems like a huge step forward for London Studio after their success with VR titles such as Blood & Truth.
