PlayStation Mobile Launches Today

on October 3, 2012 11:54 AM

Today marks the launch of PlayStation Mobile, Sony’s PlayStation platform for select mobile devices and the PS Vita.

PlayStation Mobile is Sony’s attempt at bringing its quality game experiences over to Android phones and tablets. Users can add funds to their PSN account on any of their supporting devices and use those funds to purchase games through PlayStation Mobile.

The initial launch includes games such as Loot the Land, Beats Slider, Samurai Beatdown, and Super Crate Box. Any game purchased on your PlayStation Vita can also be downloaded onto PlayStation Certified mobile devices through PSM.

Gamers with an Android device will want to check out the compatible devices and games available here. My personal recommendation is checking out Samurai Beatdown that is rhythm meets action side scroller game.
