PlayStation Plus Members Can Enjoy 1GB of Cloud Storage Starting Tomorrow

September 11, 2012

Sony’s latest firmware update will go live tomorrow and will grant PlayStation Plus users a huge increase in cloud storage space. PS+ users have currently been enjoying 150MB of cloud storage space, but tomorrow’s update will increase that to 1GB. PS+ subscribers can use the space to back-up all of their game saves or choose to store specific save files.

Sony also pointed out via its PlayStation Blog that a 12 month subscription to PS+ is 25% off until September 19th, so if you’re interested in signing up, now is the time.
