Sony today revealed next month's lineup of games that will be available to download for free for PS Plus subscribers and at least one of them noticeably fits in with October's biggest holiday.

To coincide with Halloween, Friday the 13th: The Game will now be coming to PS Plus. This asymmetrical multiplayer game allows you to take control of either Jason or a variety of camp counselors in the pursuit of either escaping or killing everyone else alive. After some rough launch issues with the game last year, going free in this manner might finally bring some players back.

The other standout title coming to the PS4 is that of Laser League, which just launched earlier this year. We've been high on Laser League in the past but it seems to have struggled to find an audience since release. Hopefully, this influx of players will help it finally help it find that consistent playerbase it has needed.

Rounding out the list for PS3 and PS Vita are the following, some of which are also available for cross-buy with PS4:

  • Master Reboot, PS3
  • The Bridge, PS3 (Cross Buy with PS4 and PS Vita)
  • Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • 2064 Read Only Memories, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)

All in all, it's a pretty solid month from top to bottom. Per usual, there's a new trailer attached below if you'd like to see a highlight reel of all of the aforementioned games. All of these titles will be available for download through PS Plus beginning next week on October 2.
