If you were wondering when Sony would hold another State of Play live stream, well, wonder no more.Announced this morning, Sony revealed that the next State of Play will occur next week on Tuesday, September 24 at 1:00pm PST/4:00pm EST. This is the first State of Play stream that has occurred since May of this year when we learned more about Final Fantasy VII Remake among other announcements. As for what the stream will focus on this time around, Sony is being coy so far. Via the PlayStation Blog, it was said that next week's State of Play will involve "new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates." The stream is said to last about 20 minutes in total and will also supposedly be sporting a new look, too.

If there's one thing we can likely bank on hearing about during this stream though, it would be Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part II. The same day that this State of Play stream will occur, some members of the media will be seeing The Last of Us Part II for themselves at a private event. It stands to reason that Sony would opt to show the public some of this new footage as well. Plus, previous rumors have indicated that the game's release date would be revealed during the next State of Play event.

While Sony hasn't formally stated that we will see The Last of Us Part II next week, it seems like a fair bet. We'll obviously keep you posted on all of the news that comes out of this stream once it transpires next Tuesday.
