PlayStation TV 3.35 Update Will Let You Set Video Quality of Remote Play with PS4

If you use remote play on the PlayStation TV a lot, the 3.35 update scheduled for release tomorrow to match the 2.0 patch for the PS4 will include a welcome feature.

In addition to the previously announced 4-player remote play, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia mentioned in the update page that a new feature exclusive to the PlayStation TV will be added, allowing users to set the video quality of remote play in order to fit their network environment better.

This probably means that, if you have a slower wi-fi, you’ll be able to lower the quality of the video stream in order to get better frame rates and less hitches.

No more specific information was given, but apparently no equivalent feature will be implemented in the portable PlayStation Vita.
