PlayStation TV Heads to North America in October

With the holidays coming up quickly, Sony is set to bring big titles and features to the PS4 over the next few months, with the latest being its PlayStation TV streaming device that will be arriving this fall.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony confirmed that its PlayStation TV device will be arriving in North American stores on October 14th, 2014, with the device being capable of playing (select) PS Vita titles through memory cards or streaming, and also capable of playing a variety of titles through PS Now or Remote Play on PS4.

The PlayStation TV will retail for $99.99 in North American stores for just the device, and retailers will also carry a bundle option including the PlayStation TV, a DualShock 3 controller, an 8GB memory card, and The LEGO Movie Video Game, which will retail for $139.99.

Sony also confirmed in its blog post that nearly 700 titles will be available to gamers with the launch of the PlayStation TV, whether it is through PS Vita game cards, PS Now, or through Remote Play on the PS4.
