DOOM brought players back into Hell like never before, and for those that have yet to experience its fury, DOOM VFR will bring a different experience to PS4 and PC this holiday, with a new PlayStation VR bundle to come along with it.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced that a new PlayStation VR bundle will be arriving for the holidays to coincide with the release of DOOM VFR, which will offer players a unique take on the DOOM universe brought to life through the immersion of virtual reality.

The new PlayStation VR bundle will include the headset, a physical copy of DOOM VFR, an updated PlayStation VR demo disc, and the PlayStation Camera, with the bundle to retail for $399 ($499 CAD) and releasing on December 1st, 2017. The blog post from Sony also noted that the title can be played using either the DualShock 4 controller, the PlayStation Move controllers, or the PlayStation VR Aim Controller, for those that want a little variety in how they experience their trip to Hell.

DOOM VFR will release on PS4 for PlayStation VR and PC for the HTC Vive on December 1st, 2017. For a closer look at the upcoming VR title, you can read our impressions on DOOM VFR from a few months ago during a Bethesda preview event, and read our thoughts on the radical new take on DOOM.
